A Holiday Special Offering

It’s the end of October and the holidays are literally just around the corner. That’s why I’m taking the first week of November and devoting it to Christmas photo opportunities.

I’m offering a couple of special holiday packages. Check out the details on the flyer at right. I’d love to have your pet in the studio for a session! Email me or give me a call.

We have heard about the health benefits of drinking water. For example, water lubricates our joints and assists in delivering oxygen throughout the body. It also helps to regulate body temperature and flush body waste.*

These benefits are true for our canine family members as well. But the benefits of water for dogs go beyond just drinking. Did you know there is another way your canine can benefit from water? (I didn’t!) It is referred to as Canine Hydro-fitness

What is Canine Hydro-fitness?

It is a non-weight-bearing exercise program that takes advantage of the therapeutic properties of warm water. We are fortunate to have a hydro-fitness practitioner here in the Cincinnati area. Sandy Hodges of K9 Waves is a certified Canine Hydro-therapist. She has been providing hydrotherapy services for dogs since 2008. Her experience and commitment to this field are apparent in the way she cares for her canine patients.

So, why Hydro-fitness for your dog?

It has proven therapeutic for dogs that suffer from:

  • Arthritic Conditions
  • Joint Injuries
  • Lameness
  • Hip and Elbow Dysplasia
  • Spinal Injuries
  • Mobility Problems
  • Pre- and Post-Surgical Conditioning

Some of the benefits include:

  • Loosening Muscle Tightness
  • Increasing Muscle Strength and Tone
  • Decreasing Swelling
  • Increasing Circulation
  • Increasing Flexibility
  • Improving Range of Motion

True or False? Your dog has a special identifier that is the equivalent of a fingerprint for humans.

According to the American Kennel Club, the answer to the question is TRUEEvery dog’s nose print is unique. No two dogs have the same.  Every bump and ridge is their own.

This is a true statement for another family pet — your cat!
